Its Official-Neath & Port Talbot now has a new dedicated local radio service in the form of AfanFM- the UKs first new Community Radio Service which was awarded a full-time FM radio licence today (April 20th 2005).
Chepstow-based Broadhall responded to the youth-orientated stations cry for financial support in its application to the UKs broadcasting regulator OFCOM. The new deal follows Broadhalls sponsorship of AfanFMs weather report in April of last year.

Broadhall and AWG Developments announce the sale of Queensgate South in Cardiff Bay, to Future Inns in March 2004.
The Canadian company will be building its flagship three star hotel on the site, the first of seven planned for across the UK.
